Illness for profit
The first time I heard someone say: “You do realise it’s not in the medical profession’s interest to cure you?” I thought: ‘How stupid this person is.’
I never gave it another thought at the time (which was several years ago) because most surely for the medical and pharmaceutical industries …this is their job!
And you would imagine there must somewhere be a standard against which their performance on making people better can be measured. After all, in most places it is called a ‘health’ service and not an ‘illness’ service.
How wrong I was
That was before COVID which opened my eyes and changed my outlook completely.
Hard as it was to get my head around and even harder, it would seem, it is to convince others — ‘the industry’ we believed is there to make us better is actually not.
This allows for some possibilities:
They are just inept and certainly not as clever as they think they are but are still basically trying to do a good job and failing. This is because they are indoctrinated along the false and misleading germ theory of disease. This means they will never succeed because of an error in the basic understanding of most diseases and what is actually making you ill.
They are wilfully and deliberately not doing what would make you better. This is because it is more profitable to the shareholders of the pharmaceutical companies to keep you ill and continuing to buy their products. This approach can be done somewhat sneakily by writing all the medical books, paying for the research and only publishing what suits your profit model and/or training the doctors with wrong information. But it still suggests an extremely corrupt business model.
They are (and possibly always have been) giving you products that actually make you more sick and they know it. These products might mask a symptom or two which certainly isn’t curing you. But at the same time the product will give you new conditions known as ‘side-effects’ for which further treatments and more meds can be prescribed. This to me suggests the greatest level of wilful deceit that would, by anyone’s measure, amount to criminality.
Note: You can also keep people ‘off the scent’ by getting powerful folks in government and the media to brand any exposure of this horrible truth as misinformation or just actively censor it.
Taking the worse ‘case-3’ above we know as fact there have been many instances where big pharma have been successfully sued and have had to pay out millions in compensation for causing harm. This is not remotely a secret.
But if the profits made from treating your new side-effects are greater than the slightly expensive ‘smack on the wrist’ fine they got for the original dodgy product, it is still worth it for them to continue to be corrupt.
I am not a researcher because there are people with far more energy, enthusiasm and ability who do it far better than I would. But I am very happy indeed to promote the findings of such dedicated individuals which is why I created the Reality of Illness website directory.
Their research deserves to be easily found to shed light on the extent of the embedded corruption and vested-interest within the worldwide medical and pharmaceutical industries.
You and me are the victims of this corruption but only when we allow ourselves to be. Yes, we might have already suffered in the past at the hands of doctors and their jabs and pills but we need not allow this to continue.
Get a fresh look at health and wellness and also the extent of the institutional corruption that we list on the Reality of Illness website — which is the tip of a very large iceberg.
Simply go to Resources and select ‘corruption’ as a keyword and you will find we currently list 175 resources against this keyword:
Note: You can reasonably say an entire industry built on the pseudoscience of germ theory is ‘corrupt’ but we have tried to allocate this keyword to just the resources where it is blatant. This is our subjective judgement but feel free to tell us about other instances you think need to be called out.
