I'm not sure that bacteria and other "pathogens" arrive to "sort things out" but more likely just to feed on dead tissue which would otherwise not be vulnerable. So we have the toxicity which causes the damage, then the germs arrive as opportunistic feeders, regardless of the outcome. Disease doesn't sort itself out, that's the whole problem.

Disease or certainly symptoms are just the body sorting things out doing the job it was designed for without the need for pharmaceutical products.
